I began my apprenticeship in January 2021 and started tattooing in July of that year. I knew from the start what kind of style I wanted to specialise in, and after two years, I was signed off by my mentor. I am currently based at Just Upstairs Studio in Stones Corner, Meanjin/Brisbane.

Art has always been central to my life — growing up, I knew that whatever I did had to involve art in some way. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, and it seems my subject matter has hardly changed over the years. Nature always finds its way into my work, and I’m always thrilled to add a fae or antique element to anything.

Tattooing has become such a magical part of my life. As a client, I’ve felt firsthand how transformative and healing getting tattooed can be — and as an artist, I’m honoured to be part of such a deeply personal and sacred practice. Many of the tattoos I’ve done reflect people’s transformations, ties to home, symbols of healing, and gifts of self-love. I'm not sure I’ll ever get over how precious it is to be part of someone’s tattoo journey, and I’m so thankful to every single one of my clients who has gifted me their trust over the years — I would be nothing without them.
